I'm thrilled to be participating as an Artist Ambassador for Public Trust, an interactive artwork by Paul Ramirez Jonas and presented by Now + There, coming to three locations in Greater Boston, August 27 to September 17.
Public Trust is a project about promises. For 21 consecutive days in Dudley Square, Kendall Center, and Copley Square, I and other artist ambassadors will be assisting Paul Ramirez Jonas in asking people to give a promise they can keep and make an artwork to take home, and putting those promises on a 16'x16' billboard FOR ALL TO SEE. Surrounding those promises will be other oaths, predictions and pledges made that day in the news.
I hope you'll join me for this exploration of the value of our word by coming to Dudley Square Sat Aug 27–Fri Sept 2 and spreading the word to your friends and neighbors. Public Trust will come to Kendall Center September 3–10, and Copley Square Sept 11–17. Now + There is also looking for kind folks to volunteer on site.
